This was an art target to invoke the feeling of gameplay. I art directed this piece, and contributed to composition, drawing, and painting along with every member of the art team at the time of its creation: Garrett Post, Vinod Rams, Jorrie Bolton, Lahela Schoessler, and Wes Parker.

I was the Art Director and one of three concept artists on an early version of Storm Lancers at Battle Barge, a Probably Monsters studio. All concept art shown here is mine unless otherwise noted on rare individual images.

The goal of the art direction was for the game to look and feel like a hand-drawn, cell animation with traditionally painted backgrounds. The influences and inspirations includes the following: Redline, Kill la Kill, Gurren Lagann, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Takeshi Koike, Mike Mignola, Robert Valley, Hiroyuki Imaishi, Jack Kirby, among many others.
